We are excited to be celebrating with you in person for the first time in three years! We have been monitoring transmission rates of COVID-19 to ensure proper health and safety measures. While the vast majority of attendees are vaccinated, we have decided to update our protocols for the event due to the recent uptick in cases, which has also affected the vaccinated population. In addition to abiding by CDC guidance and all state and local regulations, the following protocols have been put in place:
NEW REQUIREMENT: All attendees, regardless of vaccination status, will be required to provide documentation at event registration of a negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours prior to arrival at the hotel. If you test positive on the PCR test due to a recent infection, please provide a letter from your doctor stating you are no longer contagious.
Masks will remain unrequired, but attendees who wish to take this precaution are welcome to wear a mask.
Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the hotel.
We ask that all attendees self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms during the conference. We also encourage you to pack a COVID-19 home test in the event anyone begins to feel ill while in Minneapolis.
If you have not taken a PCR test before, here are a few tips for scheduling:
Google “PCR tests” to find locations in your area. National pharmacies like Rite Aid, CVS and Walgreens all offer PCR tests, as well as other providers.
Schedule your appointment for the test in advance to ensure you get an appointment time and location convenient to you. Most websites provide 1-2 week scheduling windows.
Ensure you meet the 72-hour requirement. For example, if you are arriving on Saturday June 25, your test should be no earlier than Wednesday June 22.
Plan on a 1-2 day turnaround for results. For example, results from a test taken on Wednesday June 22 could take until Friday June 23 to arrive.
